# Claude (Anthropic)

> Bring your own Anthropic account: agents and orchestrations use your Claude API key and subscription whenever a Claude model is selected.

**Connection type:** Credential

Connect your own Anthropic account to SubVerse. When an agent or orchestration uses a Claude model, SubVerse sends the request with your API key, so usage is billed to your Anthropic organization under your own limits and policies.

## What you can do

| **Use your own Claude subscription** | Run Claude models in agents and orchestrations on your Anthropic account instead of SubVerse's. |
| **Cover every Claude model** | Applies to all Claude models SubVerse supports, in both chat and voice agents. |
| **Route through a proxy** | Use a custom base URL to send requests through your own proxy or AI gateway. |

## How it works

**Agent or orchestration** → **Claude model selected** → **SubVerse** → **Your Anthropic account**

Without a connection, SubVerse uses its own Claude subscription and bills that usage to you through SubVerse.

## What you'll need

* An Anthropic account with access to the Claude Console
* A Claude API key
